Jaipur, 14 November 2025: Marking World Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Month, Cipla Pharmaceuticals Limited (Respiratory Team) achieved a remarkable feat in the field of public health awareness by creating the largest human lungs model made entirely from nebulizers. This unique installation has been officially recognized by the Asia Book of Records. The model was meticulously crafted in adherence to international standards, Asia Book of Records guidelines, and the protocols laid out by the International Protocol of Records (IPR).
This innovative initiative stands as a symbol of creativity, purpose, and medical awareness aimed at spotlighting respiratory conditions, particularly Obstructive Airway Diseases (OADs). During the event, leading specialists from across the country emphasized the importance of early diagnosis, timely intervention, and the growing relevance of home nebulization in patient care.
Speaking on the occasion, the event coordinator Raja Mookim said, ”This record is not merely about scale it reflects our commitment to enabling better breathing and better lives for every patient. This lungs installation made of nebulizers serves as a reminder that awareness is the first step toward transforming millions of lives.”
As part of its 25-year legacy in respiratory care, Cipla also announced the donation of nebulizers to government healthcare institutions nationwide. The initiative aims to strengthen access to home maintenance nebulization, ensuring safer, simpler, and uninterrupted treatment for patients.
