Jaipur, Divya rasthra:/ Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur today warmly welcomed 47 young delegates and 6 coordinators from Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Dharwad, Karnataka, as the Receiver Phase of Yuva Sangam Phase VI gets underway. The delegates – comprising undergraduate students, postgraduate scholars, doctoral researchers and off campus youth from across Karnataka – arrived at Ajmer Junction and were received by the MNIT Jaipur team before being brought to the institute’s campus.
Yuva Sangam is a flagship programme of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) initiative, which promotes national integration and mutual understanding among the youth of India through structured inter-state cultural and educational exchanges. MNIT Jaipur, which had earlier flagged off delegates from Rajasthan to IIIT Dharwad, Karnataka, on 7th May 2026, now hosts the reciprocal delegation from 6th to 12th June 2026.
The arrival was followed by a Welcome Ceremony and Orientation Programme held at MNIT Jaipur, which set a warm and spirited tone for the week ahead. The ceremony included distribution of welcome kits to all delegates, a heartfelt welcome orientation address by the Dean Students Welfare, a comprehensive introduction to the seven-day itinerary and the five pillars of the Yuva Sangam framework, an interactive session with MNIT faculty and student coordinators, and a high tea that offered the delegates their first taste of Rajasthani hospitality. The evening was marked by warmth, enthusiasm, and the unmistakable energy of young India coming together across state boundaries.
Over the next seven days, the visiting delegates will experience the best of Rajasthan through the five pillars of Yuva Sangam — Paryatan, Parampara, Pragati, Prodyogiki, and Paraspar Sampark. The programme includes a heritage tour of Jaipur covering Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, and other iconic landmarks; a visit to Lok Bhavan; an immersive evening at Jahota Heritage Village, featuring organic farming, the traditional Jahota print craft, SHG interactions, a village chaupal, folk cultural performances, and a community dinner; an exposure visit to the Barefoot College at Tilonia and the Kishangarh industrial area; campus and laboratory tours at MNIT Jaipur with faculty–student interaction; a block printing workshop; a sensitisation session on Indian languages through CIIL; a visit to Jaipur Foot; and a Valedictory Ceremony and Cultural Evening on 11th June 2026.
Each delegate will document their experiences as part of the national essay series ‘My Yuva Sangam Story: Experiencing National Integration in Diversity,’ contributing to a growing repository of youth perspectives on intercultural learning across India.
