Engaging Sessions and Student Creativity Mark Day 2 of FORHEX Fair 2025
Jaipur: The second day of the ongoing 4-day FORHEX Fair 2025 at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur, witnessed an energetic blend of creativity, design learning, and craft exploration. Building on the grand inauguration of Day 1, the fair continued to attract visitors eager to explore a diverse range of home décor, furniture, textiles, lighting, rugs, gifting items, and more—showcased under one roof. The fair will continue till 24th November.FORHEX Fair Convenor Atul Poddar shared that the response from Jaipurites and neighbouring cities has been overwhelmingly positive. “More than 3,000 visitors came on Day 1, bringing great business opportunities for our exhibitors. The fair is committed to bringing artisans and industry experts together under one platform,” he added.
A major highlight of Day 2 was an exciting collaboration between CODE – Creative Learning Network and leading institutions including JECRC University, Poornima University, Vivekananda Global University, Banasthali University, IICD, Poddar Group of Institutions, and IIS University. A vibrant LIVE Graffiti Battle on the theme ‘Rajasthan Street Stories’ drew an enthusiastic response, with more than 30 team entries, out of which 16 teams competed. Each team of 4–5 students was given 1.5 hours to create expressive artworks inspired by the cultural narratives of Rajasthan. Winners will receive cash prizes of ₹5,000, ₹3,000, and ₹2,000 along with exclusive CODE memberships.The day also featured a thought-provoking panel discussion on “Creative Economy of Rajasthan – Innovation, Heritage and Global Opportunities.” The panel included Dr. Jitendra Sharma (Poornima University), Mr. Manoj Kuldeep (Visionary Lifestyle Product Designer, Jaipur), and Pranjit Sarma (JECRC University), with Garima Agarwal (Academic Director, CODE) moderating the session. The conversation highlighted Rajasthan’s evolving creative ecosystem, the importance of innovation rooted in heritage, and the emerging global opportunities for craft-led industries. Another session—Bridging the Gap Between Creative Industry and Academia—saw a full house of students and professionals.
As the fair progresses, it continues to position itself as more than a shopping destination—FORHEX is a celebration of India’s extraordinary artisan legacy. By bringing traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design sensibilities together, the fair serves as a launchpad for skilled artisans, connecting them with buyers and offering visitors an immersive craft experience.
Artisans from 9–10 states across India have come together under one roof, showcasing authentic, original craftsmanship and the finest expressions of their regional arts. This year’s edition presents an exclusive range of garden furniture, with standout statement pieces that reflect modern design sensibilities. A strong focus on wood craft further highlights its intricate detailing, versatility, and timeless appeal in today’s home décor trends.
Visitors can explore an extensive display of textiles, home décor, furniture, lighting, carpets, pottery, and other meticulously handcrafted products. The 11th edition of the FORHEX Fair continues to be a vibrant confluence of tradition, creativity, craftsmanship, and market opportunity—bringing together art enthusiasts, interior designers, retailers, exporters, and families to experience India’s finest craft heritage under one roof.
