Paryatan Day at Jaipur | Yuva Sangam Phase V**I
Jaipur, Divya rasthra. As part of the Paryatan (Tourism) pillar of Yuva Sangam Phase VI, 53 delegates from Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Dharwad, Karnataka, embarked on a full-day heritage tour of Jaipur, hosted by MNIT Jaipur under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The day began a spectacular note at Patrika Gate, Jaipur’s vibrant nine-arch gateway adorned with Rajasthani frescoes and murals followed by Moti Dungri and the beloved Ganesh Temple, followed by the pristine white-marble Birla Temple. The group then explored the magnificent Amber Fort — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — and paused at the ethereal Jal Mahal rising from the waters of Man Sagar Lake. The afternoon took the delegates through the iconic Hawa Mahal, the UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory, and the historic Albert Hall Museum. The day closed on.
For many delegates visiting Rajasthan for the first time, the day offered a profound and unforgettable encounter with the history, architecture, and cultural identity of the Pink City — and a deeper appreciation of India’s magnificent diversity.
