
Amity University Rajasthan, through the Amity Institute of Physiotherapy (AIPT), organized celebrates World Physiotherapy Day marked by the White Coat Ceremony, inauguration of the Gait Lab, and the launch of the Departmental E-Magazine. The event celebrated academic milestones while promoting the importance of healthy aging and advanced healthcare practices.
The event commenced with a Presidential Address, Prof. (Dr.) Amit Jain, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, emphasized the role of physiotherapy and allied sciences in improving the quality of life and fostering a healthier society. Prof. (Dr.) G.K. Aseri, Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University Rajasthan gave the welcome address and highlighted the institution’s commitment to nurturing healthcare professionals. An Expert Talk on Healthy Aging was delivered by Dr. Sunil Jyani, Assistant Professor (Geriatric Medicine), MGMCH, Jaipur, who shared valuable insights into holistic approaches for geriatric healthcare and the significance of physiotherapy in active aging.
The event also featured the White Coat Ceremony, a symbolic initiation for budding physiotherapy professionals, and the Inauguration of the Departmental E-Magazine, showcasing academic and student-driven contributions.
Further, the Inauguration of the Gait Lab marked a significant stride towards research and innovation in physiotherapy, offering advanced facilities for biomechanics and movement analysis. The occasion was enriched with a Cultural Program followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of meritorious students.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Dr. Kritika Singh, acknowledging the guidance of the Hon’ble leadership, the contributions of faculty, and the enthusiastic participation of students.
