Mahindra University Appoints Dr Jayaram Raghunath as Dean of School of Law

Mahindra University today announced the appointment of Dr Jayaram Raghunath as the new Dean of its School of Law. Dr Raghunath is an accomplished academician, legal educator, and researcher with over 25 years of rich and diverse experience in law, spanning corporate practice, academia, and institutional leadership.

Before joining Mahindra University, Dr Raghunath served as Dean at GD Goenka University and Manipal University Jaipur. He has led pioneering efforts to integrate professional practice into legal education, including the establishment of institutional arbitration centres which was recognized by APCAM as the best ADR innovation. His expertise is in designing learner-centric, industry-aligned curricula, with a strong focus on instructional design, assurance of learning, and technology integration, driving innovation in future-ready education.

Dr Raghunath continues to serve on the Inspection Committee of the Bar Council of India and has made significant contributions to curriculum design, international collaborations, digital transformation of legal education, and outcome-based learning.
