
Jaipur,divya rasthra// A felicitation ceremony was organized at MNIT Jaipur on 09th September 2025, of the auspicious event of Teachers’ day celebration, the birthday of late Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. At the outset, the faculty members and Director Prof. N. P. Padhy were welcomed in the programme. The programme began with offering garland to late Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. Prof. Amar Patnaik, Dean Faculty Welfare, apprised the audience with the background of the event and thanked Director for taking up the initiative. Prof. N. P. Padhy shared the details of selection process for the outstanding teachers. He acknowledged the role of students’ feedback and a selection committee for finalizing the names of the awardees. He also spoke at length about how Teachers’ Day is celebrated to commemorate the birth of the extraordinary teacher Dr. S. Radhakrishnan who inspired millions to walk the path of righteousness. He announced the names of two faculty members as outstanding teacher awardees, Dr. Ashish Kumar Tripathi, Assistant Professor of Computer Science & Engineering Department and Dr. Virendra Kumar Saharan, Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering Department as the winners of the coveted awards in the UG category. The awardees were felicitated with memento and citation. The awardees, in their acceptance speech, candidly conveyed that diligence, perseverance and sincerity played a vital role in their career. They all thanked Prof. N. P. Padhy for taking up the initiative. They also stressed upon keeping updated with the change of time so that the students may receive the best of the knowledge. A formal vote of thanks was proposed at the end of the programme by Dr. Niraja Saraswat, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Humanities and Social Sciences.
