
The Amity Institute of Behavioral and Allied Sciences (AIBAS), in collaboration with the Amity Centre for Positivism and Happiness and the Amity Gender Cell, organized MANOLLAS 2025 – The Festival of AIBAS, a two-day celebration dedicated to mental health, emotional well-being, inclusivity, and human resilience. The event commenced with the presidential address by Prof. (Dr.) Amit Jain, Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Rajasthan, who highlighted the university’s steadfast commitment to promoting mental health, emotional well-being, inclusivity, and human resilience. This was followed by the welcome address from Prof. (Dr.) G. K. Aseri, Pro-Vice Chancellor, who underscored the critical role of academic institutions in nurturing emotionally aware individuals and fostering environments where every voice feels valued and supported. Adding depth to the proceedings, Prof. (Dr.) Mani Sachdev, Head, AIBAS, set the tone for the festival with a thoughtful overview, elaborating on the vision behind MANOLLAS as a holistic celebration of the mind and spirit. The event commenced with a Discussion – “Mind Matters” featuring an eclectic gathering of thought leaders Dr. Bushra Fiza (Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital), Mr. Manoj Gupta (Chief Engineer, Rajasthan Housing Board), Ms. Pushpa Gidwani (Transgender Social Activist), Ms. Rainu Singh (CEO, Society for Education of Differently Abled, Udaipur), Dr. Ekadashi Rajni Sabharwal (MGUMST), and Ms. Shilpa Chaudhari (Addl. DCP, Police Commissionerate), Prof. (Dr.) Amit Jain, Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Rajasthan highlighting the intersection of psychology, diversity, and social responsibility moderated by Dr. Harshita Kumar, focusing on contemporary mental health discourse. It was followed by a short Film Screening – “Jo Dikhta Hai…” exploring perception and reality and special performances by differently-abled artists from Saptshakti Asha School, Jaipur promoting inclusion and inspiration. The festival further unfolded with a wide range of interactive and expressive segments designed to engage participants on emotional, creative, and cognitive levels. “Emotionverse”, an open engagement forum, offered a reflective space for self-expression and empathy, allowing individuals to share their inner narratives through dialogue, art, and heartfelt conversations. A vibrant Flash Mob energized the campus, spreading the message of joy, unity, and collective well-being, drawing spontaneous participation and reinforcing the spirit of togetherness. The workshops, notably “Time is the Coin of Your Life”, delved into workplace mental health, productivity, and holistic wellness, integrating interactive wellness games and open “Talk It Out” circles that encouraged honest conversations about stress, balance, and emotional resilience. Creative platforms like the Open Mic and the Kintsugi Corner invited poetry, storytelling, music, and symbolic acts of self-repair and reinvention, celebrating imperfections as a path to strength. Meanwhile, Mind Maze & More challenged participants through cognitive games and psychological puzzles, fostering critical thinking, teamwork, and introspection. Together, these events transformed the festival into a profound journey of emotional awareness, community bonding, and mental empowerment. The organizing committee comprises faculty members including Dr. Monika Gwalani, Dr. Vibhanshu Verma, Dr. Ajit Kumar Singh, Dr. Shobita Jain, Dr. Neha Gupta, Ms. Aanchal Saxena, Ms. Varsha Rani, Ms. Ammara Aqueel, and student coordinators dedicated to making this festival a transformative experience. MANOLLAS 2025 stands as a testament to Amity University Rajasthan’s commitment to fostering a compassionate, aware, and emotionally intelligent academic community. Through dialogue, art, and collective celebration, the festival aims to de-stigmatize mental health and elevate conversations around happiness, healing, and human dignity.
