Jaipur : The 29th PSPB Inter-Unit Senior T-20 Cricket Tournament 2025–26 concluded on Sunday with a thrilling final match followed by a grand prize distribution ceremony. Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) clinched the championship title by defeating Oil India Limited by 7 wickets in the final.
In the final encounter, Oil India Limited won the toss and elected to bat first but were bowled out for 102 runs in 19.5 overs. Chasing the target, IOCL delivered a composed performance, scoring 107 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in just 13.5 overs to seal the title. IOCL’s Rajesh Pawar was adjudged Player of the Match for his impressive performance.
Earlier, in the third-place playoff, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) defeated Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to secure the bronze medal. Batting first, BPCL posted a strong total of 167 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 15 overs. In reply, HPCL could manage only 104 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in their 15 overs. BPCL’s Sangram Sawant was named Man of the Match.
During the closing ceremony, outstanding performers of the tournament were honoured with individual awards:
• The Best Bowler award was presented to Rajesh Pawar of IOCL, who also received a gift voucher worth ₹2,500.
• The Best Fielder award went to Amit Dani of IOCL, along with a gift voucher of ₹2,500.
• The Best Wicketkeeper award was won by Deepak Jain of BPCL, who was also presented with a ₹2,500 gift voucher.
• The Best Batsman award was conferred upon Sangram Sawant of BPCL, along with a ₹2,500 gift voucher.
• The Player of the Tournament award was presented to Saurav Bhagawati of Oil India Limited, who also received a ₹2,500 gift voucher.
The team championship trophies and other team awards were presented by Mr. Sunil Kumar Meena, General Manager, GAIL and Secretary, GAIL Sports Promotion Board. IOCL were crowned winners of the tournament, Oil India Limited finished as runners-up, while BPCL secured the bronze medal.
Hosted by GAIL (India) Limited in Jaipur, the tournament witnessed high-quality cricket, competitive spirit, and exemplary sportsmanship from all participating teams. The event concluded on a high note with an enthusiastic atmosphere and a grand prize distribution ceremony.
